Sorry he just went to the vet's today. His the swelling of the glands went down but not enough. I dropped him off after work today and he should go under the knife tomorrow morning. Vet said tomorrow he should be a little down and he has to wear one of those funny little cones for a few days till his eyes heal up. Personally I'm glad marvel will be staying there for a few days because I'm not sure I could make sure that cone stays on his head... they always look so sad with them. My buddy collected just over 100 bucks from the bucket at his store and my plan is to take pictures and make a thank you poster with marvel's picture on it. I'm so grateful that there are still good people in this world. I'm just as grateful that ya'll even took the time to care about my dog when this is a mustang forum.

UPDATE

Marvel came home with me tonight. At the same time I recieved a very generous and very kind gift from a friend. Hopefully ill have some pictures to share with yall this evening... He is super happy to be home and with his family. My son and I missed Marvel terribly. I'm going to keep praying that Marvels glands stay in place and we don't have to do this again. The vet told me that if it happens again he is ganna recommend removing the glands all together and that I would have to put eye drops in his eyes for the rest of his life. I would like to thank all of ya'll once again for all the support and prayers. And Judi you should be receiving a pm soon.

so glad to hear Marvel is on a path to recovery. he will be so much more comfortable after the healing.

I know it took me a long time to get these pics, I'm sorry. He is all good now and happy as can be. I took a few today but most came out blurry as I was using my phone and he just doesn't like to stay still for me. He doesn't look much like boston terrier anymore now that he is getting bigger... the schnauzer in his is really starting to dominate. His body is still more like a boston terrier and he still has some brindle in his coat but thats about it.

Oh my gosh! Thank you for posting pics!!! Marvel is all cutie!!! What a face!! I wonder what it's like to have a dog under 130lbs??? lolol

He acts great. He is very eager to please and picks up on the rules so quick. His temperment was like he was made for my family (mostly worried about my son, he's 3). He is not shy one bit. And after some work he plays fetch now... which my son really likes because he likes to throw the ball. I'm really happy everything worked out the way it did. He is so obedient and loving and playful its just great.
