I just saw the most beautiful car ever yesterday: a new white Challenger R/T with the double belt line stripes down the side, terminating in a big "RT" decal, and chrome cursive badging like they used in the old days. Made my GT look like an econobox. I swear, if they'd been priced right in late '07, I'd have one of those instead of my GT, the heck with who's faster.

I like the sound of that division plan. Dodge should be the performance division. However, I don't think rebranding the trucks is a good idea. Dodge trucks, as a brand, have a history that goes all the way back to the old die hard military vehicles. Severing that tie seems unwise, to me at least. I had an old '67 military-esque Power Wagon... it was a tank in every sense.

Squeeze a busa engine in it and we're talking although I'm not sure how I'm squeezing in it. I rode in them in the early 70's. They are mundane point A to point B cars. Alfa Romero is also coming stateside. Chrysler needs the Japanese to buy it so that all former axis powers can have a hand at fixing the unfixable.
The Vette has not been continuous since 1953....for in 1983 (when they changed from the older body to the more modern style), a Corvette was not made.
