I'm pulling for the Yankees. But my girlfriend is a Phillies fan. I took her to a game this year for her birthday, so I think it would be cool for her if the Phillies won this year again.
Tomorrow's game is still in Philly though. Cliff Lee (Phillies) better bring his A-game.
i hate the yankees for the same reason everyone else does. they have a large advantage over everyone else since there's no salary cap and it's not really a fair playing field. then again as a cowboys fan i hate every team located in the pennsylvania border. how about we just cancel the world series

Even though there isn't a salary cap, the Yankees pay a TON of money in luxury taxes. Or whatever it's called.
And since when is a business supposed to have a level playing field?

well for it to be a fair competition it kind of needs to be
and their payroll is what 100 something million dollars? the marlins is what 15 million? average is 30-60? how is that fair competition?
I'll say it again....why does there have to be fair competition? Baseball is a sport, but it's also a business. The point of a business is to make money and be successful. If you owned a business, you would want the best employees (players) for your team/company.
The competition IS fair. Every team is allowed to do the same thing the Yankees do.
Sports players are overpaid. The Yankees do have a great tradition though and I'm glad they were able to set there ego's (for the most part) aside and play as team. This is the first year I've seen them gel so well together and it looks as if there are going to accomplish there common goal. Go Yankees! (someone still loves ya)

I've been saying all along that the Yankees are going to win in six games. I'm a Giants fan at heart so if my National League team can't win I don't want any of them to win! The Yankees are too good to let the Phillies win two more games in Yankee Stadium
