Many think being a moderator means you have to be the king of tech and knowledge, and on top of that you have to know everything. That might be true for other sites but not here, what counts is your abilities to conduct yourselves properly. You don't have to know everything, but you do earn the attention. There's been members who knew everything technical but had zero people skills; what good would it be if you have to be insulted when needing answers to your question?
It's possible for anybody to join the staff here, we're looking for new moderators but you also have to be front and center everyday, encouraging others' active and positive participation through making posts of your own, and welcoming new members.
