well today we went to KY speedway, for the open house run.
spend $40 in the gift shop get 3 laps. i bought a picture frame, a digger ( the cam gopher ) hat and a set of lenses.
well we went down through the tunnel. it sounded awsome, we were led on the track in groups of 3. brochure said 60 mph
by lap 1 we were doing 90. lap 2, ( see picture 2 ) i was pegged at above the registered limit of my car, and still getting some go juice in there, on track display, 130 in to turn 3!
diving in deep staying in line going for lap 3! boy what a blast, you could feel the nose of the car digging in to the grooves, and the rear kinda biting and grabbing and trailing in the grooves.
boy it was super awsome!
super freaking awsome! well worth the $40
grr wouldent let me upload pics... check the bucket.
I've been on the KY Speedway a few times and it is a lot of fun. Within a few miles of this track is a brand new road course that will be opening soon. I was able to get on it back in September. The Derby City Mustang Club out of Louisville has an annual September in the Park Mustang show at General Butler State Park and this year's Pony Trail took us on the new road course. It is also a lot of fun but a totally diffferent experience.
dude, that looks ike SOOOOO much fun!!!! i cant wait to do it in the spring!
