Holy hell was that an exciting experience! I annoyed my dad this week about test driving one, not to buy, so finally we up to Classic Ford. Now I don't know how to drive stick, but I do plan on learning just to have the knowledge. After awhile of "looking" at them we asked the question. He got the keys and jumped in the back. Good thing it was a convertible, and it was really nice out! So my dad is like "take it slow", I'm thinking to myself... haha you wish! lol, jk. But, anyway long story short I had a blast. Just turning on the car was a HUGE difference than my sixer. I punched her a few times here and there too. Man if only insurance was lower! Next car to test drive... the 2011 GT!!!

when i bought my 2010 gt im insurance went up only 15 bucks a month from my 2005 v6 check it out
Really? How old were you when you had your 4.0? It doesn't matter though because we just bought a $175k farm. And anyway I would wait until the 2011 GT came out.
Unless I'm the only person on this planet that does, then yea I floored it. I didn't abuse the damn thing, I just wanted to see how it compared to my car. My dad was loving it though! As soon as I turned the car on, I think he had a little flashback years ago with his Z28. Unfortunately he had to sell it due to financial issues or something. Never got the true story...

I never even test drove one before I bought my new '05'. Ten seconds behind the wheel sitting in the dealership behind one and I said "I got to have one". Traded up in '07' and upgraded a bit since then.
Dave
when i test drove mine i only went around the block then i bought it

I somehow managed to convince a dealership when I was 17 to let a buddy and I test drive a 67 427 Corvette....Wheeeeeee. The same buddy and I also test drove a 69 Dodge Superbee. The look on my friend's face was priceless when the "air grabber" shark mouth hood popped open at full acceleration. Of course this was nearly thirty years ago otherwise I would have that 10,500 vette and the 4000 buck bee.
