FORMATION OF THE ROUSH OWNERS’ AND ENTHUSIASTS’ ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCED.
Charlotte, N.C. Roush Performance and Roush Mustang owners all over the United States have joined to form the Roush Owners’ and Enthusiasts’ Association (ROEA). Carol Barker, President, states, “This is a huge step for Roush Mustang owners. Our mission is to preserve and enhance the ownership experience of all vehicles, engines, and parts produced by Roush Performance. The association is formed by Roush enthusiasts who want to bring together, at a national level, all Roush Performance product owners who are dedicated to the restoration, preservation, modification, fun and enjoyment of ownership of all vehicles, engines and parts produced by Roush Performance, under one organization.
The purpose of the association, as a non-profit society and national club, is to preserve and maintain Roush Performance products and to serve as an accurate and technical source of information concerning these products for the benefit of its members as well as the public.”
A quarterly newsletter will include information useful to all Roush enthusiasts including event articles and photos, how to’s, advance new product announcements, product development surveys, and a wide array of other interesting topics. All members will receive e-mail notifications containing the latest Roush Performance news, product information and information regarding upcoming events. ROEA members will also receive apparel and parts discounts from Roush Performance. With the help of the Roush dealerships and the Roush Regional Sales Managers across the U.S. we will hold track and dragstrip driving experiences and car shows. Every year Roush Performance will hold a Roush Round-Up in Livonia, Michigan.
A membership drive will continue until April of 2005 at which time prizes will be drawn from the names of new members. This will take place at the 40th Anniversary of the Mustang event in Nashville, TN. Prizes include: One set of Tires from BFG, Cam Covers from Team Breed, Autographed Dale Jarrett Diecast Car, 1999 #6 Valvoline Die Cast Car mounted on marble base with plaque with Mark Martin's autograph, Promo Pkg from Mustangs Unlimited, Certificate for Bumper Letters from SW Designs, Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter from Houston Performance, Autographed JR Garage plastic banner, Autographed postcards with Jack, airplane and cars, 2 Roush Shift Knobs Chrome donated by Precision Small Parts, Ltd. and a print of the 69 Boss Mustang donated by Dukes Doodles.
