was out last night over a friends of mine and we were shooting the breeze while working on his stang. his neighbor has a lightning with a few mods and keeps beating him silly. well i think that he heard my car when it came over. anyways there was a knock on the garage door and he came in. after a while of beating around the bush he came out and asked how does it feel to do all of this work and still get beat by pick up trucks. so i told him i had never been beaten by a truck so i dont know the feeling. mike told me not to do it that he slaughters his stang and he hope that the cam and head change will get him closer to it. i asked how much did he want to run for and he just smiled. is 500 to much. so i said what the hell make it a thousand.
1hour later were at our usual spot that we run at and we check the quarter to make sure everything is okay. after all the spectators show up because he has a fan club that loves to see mustangs get beat by his (later found out nitrous fed) lightning.
once the flag man dropped his hands i spun pretty bad at the line but he didnt pull but a truck ahead of me. when i hit second i pulled past and in front by about a car and half. by the time i got to the top of 3rd im about 4 cars in front and the stang is pulling away slowly. now this is what trips me out because i normally race with the windows up but for some reason i had them down. i seen him making up ground out of no where and i could actually hear his motor change tunes. so boom i shift to 4th and let the bottle go(i'm always ready to spray ) he gets about a car behind me but to late the quarter ends. he tells everyone that was there that i sprayed him like he didnt do the same. after coming close to a riot for the money because he didnt want to pay and after i was paid hes screaming raise the hood i want to see what you have. riding home mike is begging me to tell him what i have done to the car and that he has never seen a 94gt pull like that. proud of the stang and a 1000 richer. sorry for the long post but im just so excited i told him that i was going to get a sticker that said lightning killer in the back glass and boy was he pissed just so happy

#1 its friggin febuary. most people arent racing right now.

well here in va the temp was about 46 the other day and it was 53 today. we race all year around. if the roads arent wet outside and its not freezing (anything pretty much over 40degrees) then we race. has for the money i bet 600 of my own and a few others took their chance. has for bullshit i have no need to lie nor do i need your respect. has for fun yeah but i race also on the street for money. hell only a fool would do all the work to his car and not race to make money out of it. ill race a blind man in a wheel chair and point him in the wrong direction before the race starts. so if you did everything in your sig and scared to run for money then around here we have a few names that well call you p---y. p--k just to name a few. but hey if you want to throw all your money in a car just to race the clock do your thing.

Well, honestly lots of people race in the cold weather, my father's twin turbo vette gets like 75 RWHP more due to cold air going through the intercoolers and turbos.

Dunno bout that grand tho...

lol owned? call me a p-ssy but more people have died by my hands than your momma F----- im far from it, im a us marine combat veteran. as for the money part, i do it just for the fun and pride of it, i know my ride is bad ass and i know most people dont stand a snow balls chance in hell of beating me, so why take their money.
plus when you have responsabilities like a family, you dont just come home and say hey honey i lost 600 bucks tonight because my clutch blew. sheesh
ill give you the benifit of the doubt. but its just ironic that a lot of people just show up for the first time and talk like they stared in fast and furious or sumthing.

well im in the army myself. was a fort bragg for 3yrs in the 82nd and now at va finally made it home. i didnt talk up the race but didnt back down. has for pics of the car ill post a few no problem but i dont show under the hood. all in all the pot was a little over a thousand with side bets. and has for the family i take care of my reasponsibilites. i know the danger but hell i have seen people get severly hurt just driving down the street and getting hit by a drunk driver. has for killing people i was there in baghdad the day the war was declared and didnt leave til the war was so called ended so i do my patriotic duty. has for racing in maryland i dont drive around looking for races but if challenged i dont punk out. i never claimed to have the fastest car nor do i challenge everyone that i come across. has for racing the vette that just might be out of my league. fast and the furious was a movie. and from your sig i think i would knock you off real decent on the street but hey the world may never know. next time you beat the clock at the track see if it pays you anything. my wife hates me racing and i know its wrong. but why the hell spend thousands of dollars in a car and not race for a few hundred. and if six hundred dollars breaks yiou then your already broke in my eyes.

Oh and Jimbo, Nitrous don't really do much with the setup, only way u can use nitrous is spray it OUTSIDE of the car's intake, to cool the air down coming in, which doesn't add horsepower, but makes the air cooler which helps. If John got a 8.9 sec car without Nitrous, good enough for me.

lol and as for taking me lol well we wont even argue about that, and why hide whats under the hood, sheesh its not like you have some amazing mod that nobody has ever done before throw some proof before ya start talkin smack you can look at my gallery and see whats underneath mine i aint skered. and give me 6 months to get the forged internals and turn my 302 into a stroker running lots of boost.
with the TKO and spec clutch n stuff im doing here in about a month.

only people beneath you are the ones that are buried. naw i dont have to lie about my ride or prove anything to you. i built my car to have fun and run decent. anyone can run a turbo or blower or dump gobs of nitrous. i run a 125 shot myself. but since you know so much i let you figure it out. 30over 3.85crank afr 205 comp split cam wont list specs 38lb inj dss forged piston comp about 11.7:1 magnum roller rockers split 1.6, 1.7 im sure a genius like yourself knows wich are on intake and which are on exhaust, 3.55 gear, nitrous express fogger plate edelbrock victor intake honed extruded kooks custom headers 1 7/8 primaries through custom 3in h pipe into 2 chamber flow masters catback exhaust system(love the sound) few other tricks here and there like suspension and brake upgrades. took me 3 yrs to build. i started at camp cedar, to dogwood, scandia, baghdad intl, back to talil ended up finally in garma and then returned to arifjan and back to the states. still have a few things i want to get done to my baby but i dont think you would have a chance thats why i race for money when i get the chance. i have beat quite a few of the 5 0 strokers with blowers but have also been beat. but i be damn if i get punked. and if your that good you can afford to race for free and not try a bet every now and then, hey thats you. if i feel i have a chance and can make some money then im taking it. like don king said why give away what we can sell. now since you know whats under the hood if you figured it out. no pics i still might get me a few races but here once people learn your car word travels fast and then ill be like you racing clocks. oh the custom chip was done in new jersey. and im sure from your sig if i was to catch you on the street you would defintely get hit by a snowball in hell
