There was a Ford Capri, it was the German Mustang. For some reason or other, they could not use the Mustang name there. So, even though it was basicly the same thing as the American Mustang, they called it Capri and kept the Ford name. I haven't been to Germany since 1988, so I don't know if they still do this.

I think that's a little out of his price range 65. He's looking for something around 5k.

Actually, probably 3k or less.

And I won't be buying until the end of the summer. I'm almost positive I'm gonna get a fox-body, I just wanted to see if anyone had any better alternatives.

Well I think anything "pre73" is a muscle car. Thats just my opinion. If you like the old muscle which I'm not sure if you do, there are a lot o f makes out there with lo-po engines that car be easily converted in to a screamer. So I 'm not sure hold old you are looking at.

A plain LX . 14.06 in the quarter .@95.75 mph / 1.79 60' No front sway bar. M/T slicks 3500 rpm launch, 11 psi on 89 octane, timing in the 14-16 degree range Done on a 70 degree day. Best 60' to date 1.77, best e.t. to date 14.01 by my brother.
