Cheap muscle cars...

Aside from a Stang or a thunderbird, what are some alternatives that are similar? I'd want a v-8.

Also, how are the 96 Impala's performance-wise?

The Impala's are pretty peppy but they only have 260 hp and weigh well over 4,000 lbs so it isn't the best performing thing around. Mustangs and F-bodies are the best bang for the buck V8's around. Nothing else even comes close.

I have a third gen camaro . Thats a fairly reasonable car . Not as good as the stang in my honest oppinion , but it handles better . Thats about the only thing it does better than my mustang .

You can get good condition C4s for pretty cheap now, and even some C3s for a reasonable price

I saw a 91 Mustang with a 10 Liter big block before. 1,100 hp before the NO2.

That'd be sweet, and yea i did leave out Corvettes, you can probably get your hands on a ZR1 (400 hp) for maybe 20k or so, i dunno prices, but i bet you can find one pretty cheap compared to the newer vettes 40-60k pricetag.

And as for most vette owners, almost all of them baby their vettes as far as washing/waxing, doing oil changes etc, so almost all vettes are pretty good condition

I was thinking more along the lines of under 5 grand. I don't have that kind of money yet.

Also, what are the Cadillac Fleetwood's like (1992)? My aunt has one with the 4.9L fuel-injection, and just sitting in it you can tell it has awesome acceleration. My aunt is a very slow driver and you can feel it leap forward when she touches the gas.

For 5 grand or less you could get an 87-94 gt mustang , any third gen camaro or firebird , and alot of classic muscle cars that need some cosmetics .
