Hey, did anyone see Ripleys believe it or not? they raced a dodge viper vs. a f-16 viper? the jet won like I would think, but they ran a 1/2 mile. the jet only beat the dodge by like .2, but they both clocked in at 13 seconds... that would make them about what 11 seconds in the quarter? i dont have numbers on the dodge, but are they really that fast in the 1/4? from the factory?

Factory they are like mid-low 12's on street tires for the newest ones. I know with a few mods they become 11 second cars. They are really geared for top speed. They have that T56 with the 2.66/1.78/1.30/1.0/.78/.50 gearing with 3.07 gears in the rear end. So maybe with the 3.54 gear set you can get for them, and a few mods, it could prolly run high-mid 11's.

I do believe the new Vipers (03) will be much faster since they boosted the HP to 500.
