thats what i was thinkin too. im sorry but im not just a "ford" guy, or a "chevy" guy or a "dodge" guy . i like any kind of car as long as it performs and looks good and all that. im just a "car" guy. and the new GTO isnt tamed. its just grossly overweight and too bulky. if 350 horsepower is tame, then technically every mustang but the 03 and 04 cobra is tame.

Stats I've seen on Dodge's site show development of a 5.7 Hemi with 353 hp and 395 ft. lbs. that would probably be the R/T Charger power plant. And in an SRT 8 Hemi version, bump that to 430 hp and 480 ft. lbs. Looks like 800 lbs won't be much of an equalizer.
I wonder if they will have a base V6 Charger with the 3.5 HO 250 hp engine.
acooljt, thats how ALL hp figures work. cobra makes 390 at the flywheel. so it works just like any other muscle car. let me correct my first sentence. I hardly call 350 hp at the flywheel tame.
