Those of you with digital cameras...

Well, I just got $600 from the parents and I was thinking of using some of it to buy a digital camera. I just wanted to hear what some of you have and if you like it etc. I am looking for good quality for preferably less than $250.

I just bought one 2 days ago. I bought a sony DSC-P51 at Best Buy it was on sale for $279 so far it's great, easy to use small and makes mpeg movies too. It came with the software, cables, 16mb flash card,and the battery & charger. I'm looking foward to going out and getting some pic's.

I'm looking forward to seeing the pics. I've always thought of Sony being a little overpriced for what is offered. Does it have a lot of features? How many Megapixels is it?

It has more fetures then the other camras had in it's price range, at least what they had at best buy. The camra has 2.0 MEGA PIXELS at least that what it say's, I'm at work now and I dont't have the owners manual with me

i just got a canon powershot s200..."digital elph". it was 350$ but it was the smallest digi cam i could find and it is a very good camera

for under 250$ i'm not really sure what the best camera is. just make sure it's 2.0+ megapixels

I just bought a Canon A40 about 2wks ago for under $300.00. Works real good. I'm still learning all the functions.

I was told, by someone who knows, that allot of these cameras use a Sony sensor anyway

i bought a WebCam for 40 bucks. Works awesome.

Usually i just use regular film and scan the pics and the highest resolution possible and decrease size in photoshop for best quality.
