Default Save the Wild Mustangs

The wild mustangs are a symbol of the spirit of the American West and must be preserved for future generations. Ford Motor Company has stepped in to save 52 wild horses from being slaughtered and shipped overseas only to be on some foreigners dinner plate where horse is considered a delicacy. As an owner of a 2005 Mustang and someone who appreicates the beauty of the wild mustangs, I was disgusted when I heard this story on CNN today. However, there are thousands more that need to be protected from this fate. You can help by visiting the Humane Society of the United States website and using their user-friendly way of sending emails to your elected representatives/senators to encourage them to enact legislation to ban the slaughter of wild horses. It's very easy and won't take up too much of your time. The link is https://community.hsus.org/campaign/FED_2005_horse_slaughter3??

Thanks for your help!

I am an avid hunter, but some things I have to draw the line at.

I'm a big "don't shoot what you don't eat" person, and I sure as hell am not going to kill a wild mustang! I know the Japanese eat horse, but I wasn't aware of anywhere else (at least they don't eat dog and cat!)

I'm sure that they have farms over there for their "horse needs."
Why would they want our wild Mustangs? I didn't even know there was a "horse season!"
