Exclamation 2.3 cold air question

Hey,

I would like to know if anyone knows where I can get a cold air induction kit for a 91 2.3L, or if a 5.0 kit will work just fine. Please help!!!

Well you will have to make one, because your Air Sensor is differnt you would have make some major mods to make a 5.0 one work. Trust me I did this on my 1990 2.3 you would be better off going to an exhaust shop and having some 3 inch piping bent for you. Then get a filter (k&n) and build some brackets. You will want to paint the pipe white and get some heat shield wrap for it because your intake goes right over the exhaust mani on 2.3 cars. With a 5.0 kit (88 2.3) you will need some differnt down size fittings from the pipe to the TB, and you will have to make a mount for your air sensor.other then that oh and it will be a little short so you will need to get a longer rubber connector because the 2.3 TB is back a little bit more then where the 5.0 intake comes out.

Go to Lowes, get some PCV pipe, then go to a marine store and get some angled rubber elbows. You can make your own pretty easily.
