I was lucky enough to be the second person in the state of Oregon to purchase a 2005 Mustang GT back in September 2004. I didn't waist anytime ordering my custom plate. I ended up with 05 PONY.
I went through several tries to get one not already taken in Montana (our vanity plates are cheap and everyone has them)...Finally settled on "LVMYPNY"...because my husband says I have an unnatural emotional attachment to my pony!
Just came across this thread... Hope ya'll don't mind if I bump it up!
I was absolutely shocked and thrilled when I did the online DMV personalized plate search a week after buying my little pony... Lo and behold, what did I find available... ???

My husband has an '05 Roush, so his plates are on order to state that: 05ROUSH, and since I have a white '05 GT, I debated between CMYGTGO and GRLRASR. I went with the GRLRASR as I will be adding hot pink Shelby stripes over the top and have designed a logo for my car using the same name. I figure that there is just not enough "GIRL" GT ponys out there, I might as well make one and turn a few more heads than I already do!

I went with my initials RDS 3. My grandfather had a 64 1/4 with his plate was RDS and my dad had RDS 2 on his 69 Mach 1 and now his 03 Cobra so I think it just fit for me :o

I was going to get personalized plates, but the plates in Indiana are a hideous light green in color. Indiana offers many specialty plates, so I have a Riley Hospital for Children. The extra dough goes to the kids and my last name is Riley so it goes well.
If I had got a personalized plate I was think of GT RDUN in honor of my GT and Larry the Cable Guy.
