Unhappy Nightmare Last Night!!

Well I hope it’s not a Freudian or something but I may have rice tendencies.

I have been contemplating installing an X-pipe w/ cats and cat back exhaust on our Stang. Well last night I’m dreaming away and I’m shopping for the system. I walk into a shop where they have bins of different exhaust systems (it’s a dream remember). This sales guy talks me into this one system that looked pretty descent so I go about purchasing it. Well as we walk to the check out I stumble across these two chrome exhaust tips that are like 8” in diameter and I buy them thinking that they would look cool on the back of the Stang. I leave the store and start thinking about all the comments from these muscle car forums about things that are rice and suddenly a horrible feeling came over me, what have I done!!! Than I head back to the store to return them and I wake up before I got rid of them. Am I in trouble!!!!

The short answer... yes.

But seriously... as long as you don't put a giant wing on the back of your Stang you are ok. That was my nightmare last night... saw one at the Stiller game.

Definately. He must REALLY be thinking hard about an exhaust system lately.

It doesn't mean anything. You may have chrome pipes and gizmos, but you also have SOMETHINg TO BACK IT UP WITH. Ricers don't.

No, you're okay man, It's when your buddy talks you into driving the 1993 Nissan 240Z at the used car lot after you just got done in the 99 Mustang LX and for some reason you like the Nissan more. That's when you need therapy. (just happened to me last week! )

Just keep pinching yourself until you wake up in the right frame of mind, kind of like the movie Vanilla Sky.

Thats scary man.... I didn't have a 8" on my Civic.

I'll prolly jus have 2.5 on the LX if I get it, prolly not any bigger.
