Default Single-Stage

Just wondering what you guys think of single-stage paint. I'm getting my mustang painted and I was wondering if single-stage urethane will look and hold up good. Thanks.

Single stage urethane is good paint. Your original paint job was likely a 2 stage job, with clear coat. The clear coat gives the paint a depth you can't get with single stage paint (although a truly high quality painter & one of the brand new types of ureathane can come pretty close). 2 stage paint jobs tend to be thicker and a little tougher against chips than single stage (just my opinion - my new bumper is single stage, and it seems to collect lots more chips than the old one).

Good luck with the job.
