Default Not all stang drivers are as nice as we all are...

Ok here is the story...
I went to get myself a burger today down at a seasonal burger store in the valley here. I parked in the lot went over ordered my food and took it to go. I get in my car put my seat belt on turn the key and hear a click then nothing...great my battery died is what im thining but i didnt leave anything on so how did this happen? I open up the hood and pretend i know what im doing. I decide i better call home but my dad isnt home yet so i had to wait for him for a while. Well im sitting in my car eating. and i left my hood open hoping someone will help. I see a mustang pulling out of his spot and drive towards me so i get out thinking yay a boost! he opens his window and says "car troubles?" i say yeah and he replies "Well that sucks" spins his tires and drives off and im thinking what an ass hole when another stang pulls into the lot and gets out. I go over and ask him if he wouldnt mind boosting my car . He says "I dont have time right now kid im in a hurry" Finaly im helped out by an older guy driving a honda he tries to boost my car but it doesnt work. When my dad got there we all relized that one of the cables on my battery is loose and we just had to wiggle it for me to start the car. atleast it was an easy fix. And as for the second stang driver, he must not have been in a big hurry because his car never left the parking lot until i did so he could have atleast tried to help.

Well I guess all of us stang drivers are not as nice as you guys all are. I'm sure any of you would have helped me out...right??? hehe cya

That's sad, if I'm able, I stop and help someone in trouble, especially if it's another stang. I’m particularly courteous and helpful to other mustangs. It’s sad how fewer people nowadays are willing to help someone in trouble…

Sorry to hear that. I try to help out if I can, especially if its something as simple as giving some one a boost.

I would have left you to rot in tire smoke like the first guy, unless of course you were in a tight mini-skirt, then I would have given you a 'boost'

You saying I should keep a tight mini skirt in the trunk instead of an emergency kit?

Well at the moment i dont have either of them so im screwed anyway. Maybe i will buy flares and if someone drives right buy i will pick it up and try to get it through their back window...im sure they will stop then hehe. then again a properly placed finger works just as well and its cheaper.

lol I'm kinda in the same boat, I've got a tool kit in my car, but not an emergency kit, which i need to get. That is true, a finger can work just as good, but ya gotta admit, when you look at that ricer, and you're in such desperation that you must get him to stop, it would be so much for fun to put a flare through his back window (or a firework, and make there car light up hehe)

That sucks man. I try to stop and help, no matter the car. I have been in that situation before. A few years back I helped a guy push his dodge stealth ( seemed like a decent looking rice burner) . I was headed home at 4 in the morning and saw this guy trying to puch the car on a state highway by himself. So i pulled over and helped him push it in the parking lot. It is always nice when some body stops.
Of course then again I stop twice as fast for a good looking girl mini skirt or not

It all depends where I`m at if I`ll stop . If it is in a place that has some people around and maybe well lit . Sadly in todays world one just never knows what somebodys motives are . The least I would do is offer to call for help - Through a locked door and in gear if I felt it was a bad place to stop .

For like $70 , you can get AAA for a year . And they do lots more than just a boost .

That is unfortunate. But I know how it is. And since up here you can't go a half mile without seeing a Mustang, they come in all varieties (owners).

I too do my best to stop whenever I see someone who looks to need help. If they have a cell phone to their ear I don't though. If it is in a car lot I will slow down and ask if someone is on their way, but if on the road I will just drive by unless it looks to be an emergency.
