Default newbbe with questions

Hi, new here, sort of new to fords, just bought a project car, an 83 mustang convertable. It has a 3.8 and an auto C4 (I think), the car needs alot, it needs springs, struts, shocks, it needs some interior work, a new top... the 3.8 bairly runs, and I'm not too sure of the tranmition...
now, my questions
will exhaust (headers, H pipe, and cat back) from a 2000 or newwer work on this?
How hard will it be to install a 302 or 351? will it bolt in without changing the k frame?
how can I put an AOD in, and make it work without a computer???

I can't answer all your questions, but I know an exhaust from a 94+ car will not work, your car has a different chassis.

You should post this in the 5.0 tech forum. I know you need different motor mounts.
