Default Any car collectors in the site?

What kind of insurance coverage you guys get for your collections?
Im planning to buy another car ( S281 SC ) & would like to keep the other ones I have now. That would make 4 cars for 2 drivers, the S4 & SUV would be the daily driver. The S281 SC & ITR would be sitting in the garage most of the time. I just dont get the point why i have to pay premium for every single one of them for 2 drivers. Each person could only drive one car at a time. Is there some kind of special insurance for car collectors?

My observation is that when it comes to greed, the insurance companies have no equal! I've been through this with my agent. I have 2 antiques and 4 modern cars. Yes, the antiques have a low cost insurance through JC Taylor. There are 2 drivers in my family for the other 4 cars. They still gouge me on the Mustang Gt convert even though I only put less than 3,000 miles annually on the car. I have argued with them and the only result was to raise the deductable to $1000 on the Mustang to lower the rate slightly. When it comes to insurance on modern cars, the consumer is basically screwed.

Hagerty for my collector cars and Auto owners for my daily driver, I have been satisfied so far. It also helps to have a perfect driving record.
