My observation is that when it comes to greed, the insurance companies have no equal! I've been through this with my agent. I have 2 antiques and 4 modern cars. Yes, the antiques have a low cost insurance through JC Taylor. There are 2 drivers in my family for the other 4 cars. They still gouge me on the Mustang Gt convert even though I only put less than 3,000 miles annually on the car. I have argued with them and the only result was to raise the deductable to $1000 on the Mustang to lower the rate slightly. When it comes to insurance on modern cars, the consumer is basically screwed.
