I dont know if this has been posted yet, if so, sorry.

Just thought that all of you Shelby craving guys might like to see this.

At the Barret-Jackson auction in Scottsdale AZ, some one laid down $600,000 to be the proud owner of the first 07 Shelby GT500 being offered for sale later this summer.

The procedes of the sale went directly to the Carrol Shelby Children's Foundation.

This information can be found in the June 06 issue of 5.0

If I had 600K to spend on a car, it wouldn't be on a GT500. I'd buy one of these:

Yeah I saw that when it happened it earlier this year. Absolute insanity. The guy got a whole bunch of stuff to go with the car. Autographed rolling Mac tool box and an autographed sunshade to go in the car and a few more things.
