I was just wondering what games other Mustang owners play on Playstation 2, I just bought my PS2 about five months ago, so I don't have very many, and I was wondering what else was good.
Here's what I've got:
GUN: This one was awesome, except for the fact that when it's over, that's it! You can "free roam" as in a lot of other games, but there's noting to do while doing so if you beat all the side games to build up stats earlier on. It's a shame too, because after you beat all the side games and the story, you get the best horse and most brutal weapon! At least the story was truly awesome, would've made a decent western movie.
Ford Racing 3: Awesome racing simulator with a few liberties taken here and there, cool collection of Fords in general, as well as Mustangs in particular, but the Mustang II and fox bodies are inexcusably excluded.
Ford Racing 2: Same as Ford Racing 3, but with fewer cars and different (and in some cases BETTER tracks.
Powerdrome: Basically a knockoff of Star Wars Episode 1 Racer... everything is the same except the appearance and character names.
Motorcross Madness 3: Arcade-quality Motorcross game... some fun with a friend in 2-player mode... boring as heck on your own... I loaned it to a friend who's had it for awhile and never given it back... I don't even miss it, heck, it was part of the $10 3-pack with Ford Racing 3 and Powerdrome.
The Getaway: Intriguing story, but extremely complicated gameplay... haven't gotten far in it... but something keeps me from putting it down.
Super Trucks Racing: Race Semis just like in Europe... difficult at first, but you eventually get used to nothing happening when you hit the brakes or turn the wheels.
Grand Theft Auto, San Andreas: I'm not sure why I keep playing this one... the story is pretty stupid, but there's so much to do within the game... not to mention a playing field so massive you can get lost....
Star Wars BattleFront: I LOVE this game, it's fun to go in as a Stormtrooper, Battle Droid, Clone Trooper or Rebel and do EVERYTHING in any given battle that you want to do!
Need For Speed, Underground: Ricey, but a true blast... a lot of the game is actually pretty realistic... I just hate the fact that I'm limited in how far I can go unless I'm willing to rice out either my Miata or Supra (both of which I have exactly the way I would want them if I owned either).
Gran Turismo 3, A-spec: I play this one from time to time, but I really think it's over-rated, but I've thought that of all of the Grand Turismo games.

Also have a 2003 Dodge Ram (lightly modded daily driver/tow rig/office/dining room/home away from home/workshop... I call it "The Big Blue Dawg".)
i don't own any, but i spend every day playing them, as i work for sony. really, the older games are better then the new ones. tehre's a couple good ps2 games coming out soon, but not many, most of them suck. wish i could give you titles, but i'm not allowed yet XD
That Grand Theft Auto series is awesome, especially the way they kept upgrading each title so you could do more and more. In the San Andreas version, you have to juggle eating, working out, training in your car/boat/plane/motorbike, four different girlfriends, buying clothes, buying real estate, BMX tournaments, gambling, pimping, driving taxis, being a cop/fireman, ON TOP OF doing all the missions. Takes almost as much effort as real life.
But my son is NEVER going to see any of them until he's 18. Just way too violent and anti-social. It's like the developers ask themselves...."What are the worst/most criminal/most violent things that somebody could do?" ....and then they program that into the game!
i have a bunch of games but i only really play four of them. NSFU2, Call of Duty 2:Big Red One (my favorite), Champions of Norrath, and Medal of Honor: Rising Sun.
