Tragedy The following story happened locally and is just sad. Guys had been drinking and street racing a fox body Mustang in a rural area when three girls crossed a road in front of them. The girls should not have been on the street on a ATV....but they would still be alive had it not been for these idiots. The Mustang skid marks were incredibly long before hitting the ATV.

JACKSON, Miss. -- Two men charged in the accident that killed three Rankin County girls will appear in court Monday.
The victims, Jamie Mclain and Nicole Dear, both 14, and Emily Odom, 12, were hit and killed Friday night by a car as they crossed Lynell Road on an all-terrain vehicle.
The girls' parents said they have been trying to stop speeding in their neighborhood for years.
Police booked driver Ricky Harmon with three counts of manslaughter.
"He came over the hill flying," said a relative of one of the girls. "He had to be doing at least 90 or 100 mph. My baby Nicole, Emily and Jamie -- none of them had a chance."
A passenger in Harmon's car, Brian Mudd, also was booked with being an accessory to maslaughter and public drunkeness.
Police said they found empty beer cans in the car.
"He's not the type of person that would hurt anybody," said a friend of Harmon's. "He likes to race, but down the backroads back here. The roads that got dead ends, far away that children don't go down."
Officers have not yet determined how fast Harmon was going when he allegedly hit the girls.
Burial funds have been established for the victims. Trustmark Bank will handle donations for Nicole. Community Bank in Brandon will handle donations for Jamie and Emily.

Drinking and driving is deadly and stupid...but drinking and street racing is beyond comprehension.
Y'all take care and have happy safe Mustang experiences.
