what's up i'm a rookie at this hope i'm doing this rite.i would like to know if anyone has or know of a combonation using a 30 over 351windsor that would make 500hp or more with know more than 10.7.1 compression.my first plan was to build a 393 or 408 using jon kassa cylinder heads,soild roller cam and a victor jr. intake but the money has got a little short.if i can get 500hp from a 30 over windsor i will be happy with that.plus i'll be using 2 stage nos plate system. thank you-morris-

check out high compression 426 strokers. The last thing you want for a streetable engine is a solid lifter valvetrain, unless you like pulling valve covers once a week to adjust the lifters.
