That salesperson was an idiot. Sorry. He should have been able to see from the first minute of talking that he was not interested in doing anything other than “test driving” the car. If his “buddy” was interested, why was HE doing the driving? Hmmmmm And any salesperson who lets a car off their lot with someone driving without a license should be immediately fired.
