So I work at a fast food place and was working the drivethru tonight. A 04 mustang GT came through and when I looked inside the odometer was well over 300,000 km! After we worked it out we got a little less than 350km/day! That or this person ahs done some mass traveling..
Just thought I would share

my 96 Dodge Ram has 178000 miles on it. my dad used to take it out of town all the time. his new one is less than a year old and he has 22000 miles on it. his 24000 mile lease is up in two years. lol i think he just might go over it. so how many miles is 300000 km?

Coming soon: Green Underglow Neon (or LED Lights) Cold Air Intake, Pipes coming right off the headers for an exhaust, and maybe a sound system too.
there are conversions to standard from metric and vice-versa. According to the conversion calculator there, 300,000 kilometers would be 186,411.3 miles. Assuming that the car was bought in late '03 (remember, the 04 model year starts in 03), then the car is actually three years old which works out to 62,137.1 miles per year, or roughly 99,999.72 kilometers per year which is 273.97 kilometers - roughly 170.23 miles - per day, right?
According to that calculator, razorjr07's 178,000 miles would be 286,462.52 kilometers and Andy Smith's 189,000 miles would be 304,165.26 kilometers.
heehee, two of my four current vehicles would have over a million kilometers if you did the math...

Driving is one of the best things to do. Trust me with a suspended license now of 7 months, which will be ending in one month, you really understand how important and fun driving is. When I am able to drive again, I will put on so many miles and go everywhere just to have the joy that I havent had for so many months. If you have a great car, a Mustang primarily, you cant help but travel places and enjoy getting there. I understand where those people rack up those miles. As for me I've only got 5,000 miles on my 05 Mustang. Amazing huh?

Amen! Getting there is sometimes more enjoyable than where you're actually going if you plan the route right, and have the right car for the trip.
The most relaxed I've ever been in my entire life was crusing from Ft. Worth, Texas, to Ada, Oklahoma in my '75 T-bird, (on my way to St. Louis, Missouri) just sat way back in that big sofa of a seat, set the cruise control at 80, and pulled my Stetson down low over my eyes and kept a hand on the wheel. Got out at a gas station in Ada to fill up and check my fluid levels and didn't even feel like I needed to stretch when I got out! (of course, the rest of that trip was a mechanical nightmare!!!)
