Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein is being made to watch his appearance in cult cartoon South Park while he is behind bars.
The deposed leader on trial in Iraq was featured in the movie spin-off as the lover of the devil. South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut featured Hussein and Satan attempting to take over the world together.
Speaking at the Edinburgh International Television Festival, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone said US Marines guarding the former dictator during his trial for genocide were making him watch the movie "repeatedly". "I have it on pretty good information from the Marines on detail in Iraq that they showed him the movie last year. That's really adding insult to injury. I bet that made him really happy," Stone said.

Now, that's funny.

Being forced to watch South Park. Man, I would consider that cruel and unusual, and I've never been made fun of by the show.

Seriously, I hate that show and never thought it was funny (I watched it once or twice to give it a fair chance.) I always considered it to be a second rate (actually, more a fourth or fifth rate) Beavis and Butthead (now there was a funny yet offensive show), but to each his (or her) own. It is funny that Saddam is being 'entertained' with it during his incarceration.

You Kidding? Ole' Sodamy is probably thinking that would've been a good idea. I'll bet he wishes he had a "Hotline to Hell".
I can't stand Southpark or Bevis and Butthead. Now Ren and Stimpy....there was a show!

Yep I vote for Ren and Stimpy. I had a best friend in Idaho I called stimpy, stimp for short.

But you wait, all the Abu Gahraib, liberals will soon be crying foul to the Marines, and calling this torture, and "oh how can you do that to poor old Sadamny, the poor, poor old man." "You evil Marines are so hateful."

ricfly52, your right the Libs will call it torture ,but its ok to cut the heads off or mutilate Americans. Saddam just needs a .45 slug to the head.
