So last evening I fired up the 93 GT to move it so I could mow the grass. She ran a little rough after sitting idle for more than a week. Still having guilt about letting her go. If we had it in the budget to fix her up I would keep her, but that's not something we can afford in the foreseeable future.
But I have to admit I haven't done much to try and sell her. The guy from Pepboys wants her real bad, but had financial difficulties and can't buy her unless I finance him, and I don't think my wife and I are comfortable with that.
My neighbors son just got his license and wants a car. Saw her last night and she asked how much I wanted for it. I told her I wasn't too sure about selling it to a teenage boy. The temptation to race on the street is too great. Her son has never driven a manual
tranny anyway.
Right now the 93 only gets driven to take the dogs to the park on weekends. Sad really, since it has been a great car for me for nearly 14 years.
