Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone is in the Tampa FL area and if they know of anythings to do down there. I'm flying down next friday and will be in the area for work for the weekend but only have to work saturday night, I'll have friday afternoon+night and saturday to fool around. I'm really going to try and rent a new shelby GT 350H or at least a new mustang gt to drive around. I don't get to go to big cities very often so I'd like to check it out, let me know guys and thanks

well number one tampa isnt really a big city brother - there is always ybor city if you want to party and see hot women, it is close to tampa and it is a pretty good time - clearwater beach has some hot women - just jump over the countrey campbell causeway and keep driving and that will take you to the beach
there are a lot of great strip clubs in tampa - mon venus, 2001 odyessey, deja vu, and a bunch of other places

Leroy Selmon's is great. Bonefish Grill.
Dale Mabry is the main North/South road, most everything you want can be found off of it. It is East from the airport if you are flying in.
What are you looking to do? It sounds like you don't have much time to do anything.

they have awesome strip joints in tampa...if you do like i do and wear a suit...you can run the fashion photographer story on em...or federal agent( that ones easy for me)...key is straight face and be believable...skys the limit after that...have fun...

There's more to Tampa than strip clubs, but if that's what you want, there are TONS of them..
You'll see them everywhere, the ones So Money mentioned are on Dale Mabry, near I275.

Well, I'm kinda bummed out, I called hertz and tried to rent one of the new shelby hertz but they won't rent that car to anyone under 25 and I'm 23, they won't really rent any of the cars in the "fun Package" to me so I probably will just ride around in the van with the rest of my co workers unless I really want my own car and get like a 2 door spec lol. I don't have a ton of time but I'll have friday afternoon and night and half of saturday to fool around. I'm also going to be staying in St. petersburg, just flying into tampa but it didn't look that far away. I just wanted to know what to do if I get bored in the hotel and need to get out. I would definitly like to get out and see the night scene if there is any.

It takes 20 minutes depending on traffice to get to Tampa from St Pete. Just take 275 north bound, gett off on Dale Mabry, or continue to I4 towards Disney to get to Ybor City.
Plenty of stuff to do, worry not.

the trick is to get the stripper from the club to your hotel room and NOT pay money...i've gotten good at that...do the manly cry thing after you tell a wicked story about your best friend that the mob killed or the boy you mistakenly gunned down in a bank robbery shootout..this doesnt work if youre a slob but if you take care of yourself and youre someone that they have in the back of their mind they might wanna boink anyway
