MLB sucks now-a-days! It is the least quality professional sport in the US. The players are all on juice, and there is no salary-cap. The pitching has been so watered down over the years that people who wouldn't have been able to play AAA ball 15 years ago are 3rd and fourth starters. The stadiums have less foul-territory and shorter fences (more seats), which makes it easier on the hitters.
If you want to see some ball players who really love to play the game, go watch some AA games.

You can hate on the players all you want. But baseball is still the only game that requires any hand-eye coordination, dead reckoning, luck and sheer mind power to be successful at. Yeah it's kinda boring to watch on TV, but my years playing the game were the best years of my life.
BTW, who's winning the NLCS? I haven't been able to catch a single game yet.

I played baseball for 15 years and have watched all my life untill about 2 years ago. The game of baseball has been shamed and disgraced by Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire, Raphael Palmiero and many others. The great records held by the only real baseball heroes have been scarred by the disgrace that follows this mediocre professional sport wherever it is played.

Yeah, tigers deserve it ... even though they killed my As...its ok.. Its a good thing that in the past few years a team with a no so high payroll can win. Out of the Final Four teams the A's had the lowest payroll and detriot has the second lowest. I'm rooting for the Tigers..
Yankees has the highest payroll 190million
Marlins has the lowest 14 million. base salary is 327K ... go figure...
