Saw this on the news last night. Police are targeting ricers with stolen engines.

great...thieves deserve everything they get...but i probably wouldnt destroy a perfectly good car...i'm assuming they return the engine before they destroy the car...and even then ...why not raffle the car off or ship it to some poor country so they can put some kinda engine in it and use the thing...seems like a waste...but i guess if they use the scrap metal for something equally good
