I didn't say they haven't attacked us because of our troops over there. Although our guys are keeping them quite busy these days. I said they were tied up with affairs in their local region and it was only a matter of time before they came after us. We know for a fact that Hussein had chemical weapons. He used them on his own people for Pete's sake. I still maintain that maybe they didn't have a fully developed nuclear weapon, but that program was still up and running in the mid-late 90's. Why else would they stall the UN inspectors for days at a time when they showed up?

A person educated on the subject would know we didn't just go to war over WMD's. Being sold and being educated, a person should know better. He was never lied to. Intel was wrong but was wrong by many folks, from many countries. I sat through a few intel briefs and was sold on the fact based on what was presented. You keep spouting defeat.........we have yet to be defeated, on the battle field. If you can name any battle, one battle that we have lost, I would love to hear it. The war went very well by the way. Please point out a part of the war that was poorly executed. You said it so you must have a specific example and not just repeating some media hype. Granted, we fought an army that was weak and not prepared to fight a modern foe but we did defeat its forces and take the country in a rapid and effecient manner. It is the occupation that hasn't gone smoothly or as smoothly as many would like.
Explain how this war is like Vietnam as well. I mean, I guess like Vietnam, we invaded N. Vietnam, defeated their army, their air force, etc. Occupied their nation and fought Asian terrorists for many years during the occupation. Usually an emotional response. Granted, listening to the President speak, might lead someone to come to a certain conclusion as to his intellectual capability.
