Default What I got to see this weekend.
A friend invited me over to come watch some helicopters at his runway. Well they were not just any helicopters. It was a demonstration team sponsered by the army. Their copter of choice was the Cobra Gunship. These pilot were seriously well trained and very good pilots for some of the things they did. They flew in formation and did several other aerobatics. Just to give you an idea of how good these guys are they were invited to come perform with the blue angels in the blue angels home town. They received better reviews than the Blue Angels themselves!


I posted a pic of one, the friend who hosted it was able to go for a ride in one for 5 minutes as well as his wife who are seen in the photo.

87 GT (UNDER CONSTRUCTION) new paint job, 306 w/ TFS stage 1 cam, TFS intake , still cant decide on heads.

Maybe even a t3/t4 turbo...? hmm

They were wicked, I need to post some more pics. They were surprisingly quite too. Kind of made me want to start looking into being a helicopter pilot.

wow that gunship looks tiny! its like a flying rocket launcher with a seat!


...no wonder they have a low radar signature.
