I know Babii. I just had to get that off my chest. It kind of infuriated me that some of the people on here would think otherwise of me or my intentions. That's just sick......
Some of us here will protect you from the ones who one minute say their gf dumped them, then go back into the forums to see how many ladies there are on the site to see if they can get a date or something. That's wrong.....
Although my daughter (7 years old) is more interested in decorating her dollhouse than pretty much anything else right now, she does show signs of latent caraholicness from time-to-time. She wrapped her little arms around my neck (an unusual position considering I am wrapped around her little finger) and asked me, "Daddy, when you get tired of your GT, can I have it?"
"Punkin, I thought you wanted the convertible." I replied.
"Naw," she drawled, (she is a Southern girl and it shows on the rare occasion) "It's only a V-6."
She shows potential. I can only hope she stays as optimistic and warm-hearted as she is...and as Babii C seems to be. With, of course, the penchant for fast Fords that she appears to be developing there won't really be time for boys...and that's okay with me.
I've already got my pitch for any boy who comes to the house to pick her up for a date, which had better be quite a while from now: "Son, see that patch of ground over there? That's where I buried a 1,500 pound horse back in 2006. I've still got the backhoe and the seven acres. If I can make an animal that size disappear, a 170 pound kid shouldn't give me too much trouble. Do an old man, and yourself, a favor: keep your hands off my daughter and her car and make sure I don't have to fire up that backhoe."
What do you think, Babii? Can I keep her away from the boys if I dangle a fast car in front of her? Will she then attract boys who will respect her for her knowledge of cars? Should I just let my wife handle everything? Am I doomed to an ulcer by the sheer fact that I'm worrying about this 6 or 7 years too soon?

Well MCPG, You're DOOMED!!!!! I have a 14 year old Daughter, and she has had me wrapped around her finger for years now. It's only going to get worse. She is a Daddy's girl, and a muscle car fanatic. I take her to all the shows, and God forbid if I ever went without her. You cannot hide her from boys. I have, and it doesn't help. They will call all the time. I don't even answer the phone anymore. I just let it ring. If they want to talk to me, they'll leave a message. There are many of us Fathers on AFM that just don't have a chance. They are smaller, cuter, much, much smarter than us, and can cry. Just wait for the hormones to kick in. Then they're not happy until the whole house is pissed off.
Virtual hugs just aren't going to cut it for the day I'm having. I think a virtual foot rub and virtual beer are more suited for my mood. Can't wait for Thanksgiving, I need a break from school no matter how short it is.

hmm.. just in case that was directed at moi... which i'm sure it is... who goes on forums to get a date? if i mentioned anything about a date it was a joke... that's lame... i'm sorry i think females with mustangs are hot and was just wondering how many are on the site... just cuz my gf dumped me doesn't mean i want to stay depressed and sad forever... if i want to look at Stang ladies on the internet so be it, we have a whole f-n gallery for that...

You guys need to remember she's only 15 years old! And no matter how you slice it, grown men flirting with a 15 year old girl is wrong on so many levels. If I found my 15 year old daughter on a board like this, I'd pull the plug!
