my first reaction was to get all uptight and jealous until i realized i call her "number 4" in my head....but tell me....what job sends its employees to miami for training ?...can i even begin to get upset when i own stock in the trojan company from all my purchases? all that keeps going through my head is that scene in "chasing amy" when the lead hears the story about the threeway

Any chance she is or has been a mule for some NY dealers, bringing drugs up from Miami? Hate to suggest that - and you'd probably be much better off if it is just another guy.
Of course, from a less 'sleazy' point of view, where is the headquarters of her bank located? If it is in Miami, or if they have a 'flagship' bank there, I wouldn't be surprised if the company really did send her there for training.
Another possibility is that her arrival in the U.S. was not by 'conventional' (or even legal) means. Could it be that she is here illegally, Miami was her 'point of arrival' and that she isn't comfortable telling you that, yet? Of course, I would hope that a bank would know a little more about their employee's background than that.
She sounds way to hot for you. All i can say is don't blow it! If she relay, relay likes you she may even lend you money for your mustang.

It is entirely possible, which is why I allowed for that in my first response. Nghtrnnr sounds like something of a 'player' and it could well be that his own nature has caused suspicion of a perfectly innocent, honest young lady. There is an old, Southern saying that you shouldn't measure others by your bushel. However, there are a couple of reasons I think his suspicions might be reasonable:
1. I have known folks who were bank tellers. This bank could be a glowing exception, but, for the most part, at least in the area where I live, banks treat their tellers like crap. They aren't 'vital' employees and, for the most part, are treated in a manner that clearly sends the message that banks consider tellers to be a dime a dozen. Unless she is 'head teller' or something, I really can't imagine a bank considering her position important enough - or her, as an employee, valuable enough to justify the expense of sending her anywhere, much less an expensive place like Miami, for training. However, the fact that she is a native Spanish speaker could increase her value to the bank and possibly explain why Miami would be chosen as a training venue.
2. Nghtrnnr said that she told him she had been sent to Miami for a 'weekend' of training. Banks, for the most part (at least in my area) aren't open on weekends. The locations that do have Saturday hours are, generally, pretty limited. It is hard for me to imagine a bank paying training staff to work on the weekends to train someone for relatively low-paying, high-turnover positions such as teller. It is even harder to imagine them paying weekend rates for airfare and accomodations in Miami for someone in an entry-level position. Now, maybe this particular bank has decided to invest a little more in an attempt to increase employee retention and maybe the weekend was chosen specifically because the bank isn't open, meaning fewer distractions.
Nghtrnnr, I would advise keeping your eyes and ears open, but be careful about jumping to conclusions. There could be something sneaky going on - this obviously did set off warning bells for you, and you are the one who knows her, not us. At the same time, she may well be telling the truth or there could be a perfectly innocent explanation. Who knows, there is always the chance she could go from being 'Number 4' to being 'Number 1' and maybe even 'The One'. Based solely on your posts I have read on AFM, I bet you are the kind of guy who, whether purposefully or not, sabotages relationships early on to avoid being hurt later - especially when you foresee the possibility of some level of commitment, of which you are not a big fan.
As I mentioned, there is always the possibility that she is lying, which set off your 'warning bells' but that the explanation is completely innocent. Maybe she went to Miami with a former boyfriend (maybe even a serious suitor - possibly even a fiance') and they are no longer together. Could be that you guys simply aren't at a point in your relationship that she feels comfortable talking about it, yet.
man this is some pretty deep stuff. but honestly nghtrnnr would you rather she get it on with a druggie that has an untold number of girls and untold number of diseases or a lonley bank teller who just like a good time now and again?
