No way!!!! It is a nice car, but 235k is a little overboard. Don't get me wrong, but if I had the extra cash lying around with nothing to spend it on, I would buy it if I really had to have one. I find cars like these to be museum or car collection bound, not driven, and that would bother me to no end. I couldn't stare at it everyday wondering how it would feel to pounce on it. Hell, I'm looking at my Mustang in my garage and it's killing me not to drive it, but we're getting a little snow today, and the roads will be salted, so it's "goodnight" until Spring. If I have a car like that, I will drive it.....
Worth it? That is subjective. That is what they are selling for would be a more accurate statement. Personally I don’t think they are “worth” that much. I am not a big fan of idolizing people or their products. It is a fantastic vehicle but I find it hard to believe that if you were to build one yourself you could not outdo that car with far less money. You would not, however, have the name and the X of XX many made status folks seem to really want. You would however have 1 of 1 ever made to these specks is you had one custom made yourself.
Don’t get me wrong, that and the Anaconda are VERY nice cars. But being I have never had money to just toss around, I tend to be a bit more picky on how I spend what I have. Even if I won the lottery I can’t see myself not “budget shopping” to get the best bang for my buck.
With that said though, I would not kick that car out of my driveway. But to me it just seems like a toy for the rich, and that is fine.
step brother in law....? bro do you think you can get me a deal if i can get up 35000 bucks for him?
HA! I think he is tired of hearing from me begging to be adopted. The owners of Unique offered him a Mustang as thanks for all the cars he sold and money he made for the shop.
On a similar note, Unique Performance is also rebuilding the 69 Camaro with a 572 ci crate engine, The Cuda's of yesteryear, and the Foose Stallion. I will have to dig up some photos of the underside of the Eleanors. You wouldn't believe the steam rollers that are crammed underneath that monster! the craftmanship and experience really shines on the underside of these cars. and on top too...on the sides...it's just purdy to look at.

I watched a GT500E catch $400k on Barrett Jackson. It was one used in the movie and had Cage's signature on the dash.
All in the eye of the buyer. Or in this case, the size of your sugar daddy's wallet. Two gold diggers were in a bidding war with two old rich slob's money.
Just went back and checked...better hurry there have been exactly....NO bids on the car yet!
I don't know the thing just strikes me as an overpriced kit car more than anything else. Wouldn't mind having the motor though...wouldn't fit the 66 but maybe I could squeeze it into the 97.

I'd have Hill's Hot Rods do the restoration on my '75 Chevy...
I'd pay off my Ram.
I'd have my Mustang II frame-off restomodded.
I'd have the racecar finished.
I'd still have money left.
No way in hell I'd spend that on a Shelby wannabe.

I would love to have that ! And yes , I would drive it all summer long same as my current mustang ! I too think it is way over priced but hey , so are so many other sport cars out there . If they mass produced it and a guy could pick one up for 40 grand just wouldn`t be the same .

lol...actually you can get one for 40 grand...find an old clunker 67 fastback for 10 grand...and if you put 30 grand into it....i guarantee you, you will have a car just as badass and twice as fast
Hummn....1 day and six hours left on the auction...still NO bids...maybe someone should try to low ball him and offer what its probably really worth about 25K or so.....

Overpriced it may well be, but you are not going to come close to the level that car is with only $40k.
