Unhappy I think I'd die if this happened to me...

Good God. I would never stop suing people if this ever happened to my car.

I would be pissed too. I would like to know how the dealer talked their way out of this one.

heartbreaking.

Thanks. My wife said the Colts were going to win the SB because we're naming our son Colton. She was right, but I haven't admitted it to her yet.

My brother got my stang. He's going to put it into the 9's in the 1/4 mile and 900+ hp. Is that even possible on our s197's?

New GT500 front end going on within the month, new brakes, turbo, springs, lowering it, spoiler delete, new rims/tires, cai, etc etc etc.

I'm just glad that the car is going to him and not someone that would've torn it to pieces.

I know. If a investigation showed that it came back to the exhaust causing the fire, that dealership would be so screwed. I'm sure the service manager, service advisor, and any and all techs that touched the car would all be fired. I wouldn't stop until they were all canned.

Then, I'd demand a new 08 z06, maybe a z51?, and then have them pay for a crapload of mods.

Truly, someone is going to have a bad day with that. If that was a dealer...I would own their happy butts...not only would I get a new car to replace it, plus any mods I had doen at the time, there would be an exchange of a large sum of money form the dealer to me. Somebody's butt would be hung out to dry.
