 Oh boy, another tuner show...
Let me start this post off by saying its not an import flame... its an extreme distaste for the show.. I would be really upset if I drove an import!
Has Anyone seen this new show called Xtreme Import? Totally lame...
First off the camera work and picture looks like its shot for public access... i figured, low budget.. no biggy...
then the announcer is a complete moron... says the show is all about performance when all they show are the show cars.. with 3 tvs in them.
Then he goes into slip-ups like saying power adders such as headers for the Vtec, Altezza taillights when they are supra cross-overs, and being at the biggest import show, when hes broadcasting right in front of a Chevy Cavalier RS. He talks about the cars massive performance gains using NOS while the whole time you see the Purple ZEX bottle in the trunk. So i marked it down that just that guy was an idiot..
Then they go into their performance tips for a Civic SI...
Clear taillights, 18" Konig rims, 4 12" subs with amp, and of course the grapic decals... How does this fall under performance??
Like i said... not hatin on imports... this show is just full of morons... lol..
One thing I dont quite understand tho... a guy on there had $80,000 in his supra.. looked nice.. he said it pushed 900 HP... but only ran a 10.2. that doesnt sound right... doesnt a supra weigh about half of an SN95 Mustang? and yet they'd pull better times with that kind of power..
I dunno.. maybe its just me being cranky cuz i was up late/early.. but if someone ever tries to horribly show off Mustangs like that? there will be hell to pay.. |
