You remember who was a main driving force behind that, JEB? Reagan. Remember, he threatened to work to pull federal highway funding from states that wouldn't raise the legal drinking age from 18 to 21. I seem to recall that the only 'hold-out' was your home state of Louisiana. They resisted and kept 18 as the legal drinking age (is that still the case, or did they finally cave?)
Yep, if ol' Ronnie had never been president, our boy razorjr might just be sitting at a bar, celebrating his birthday with a cold one. Oh, well, I hope your birthday is going well, razorjr, even if you can't (legally) imbibe.
