As part of the moderator team, i want to say thank you
to so many who are using more descriptive and correct
thread titles! I still fix quite a bit but it seem that you all
are getting really good at it!!.

I know there are instructions before posting a thread, but I
want to let you all know how important it is to have a complete
title. When you include the full year make and model and
a good description of the problem, other members can see at a
glance what your need is. I find that most will by pass a thread
that just says "help". Also when you search our forums for
simular threads you will get better results. Another reason is
when someone is searching the web for a particular year, they
are more likely to click on your post, because of the thread title!

So Keep up the great work, thanks to all who help those like
myself, get through our questions!!

I will second that Thank You....it makes our job easier and the forum that much more user friendly when the titles of the threads are more descriptive.

it is a lot easier to want to keep a forum respectful and informative when you have mods that you respect and they respect the members. I know of a few other forums that if they imposed guidelines like the ones here on AFM, there would be disrespect and foul language just to use foul language for the sake of a laugh.

Ronda, you may be thanking us for using more descriptive titles, however I think the thanks should go out to all the mods for being great mods. wholly respectful and willing to help out. when you have mods like that, people just want to return the gesture.

Exactally. And as I like to point out to new people when we welcome them, the proof is in the results. Look at how long most of us stick around. I have been here going on 2 years, lots of people longer that I have. For people to stick around and keep coming back for YEARS not days really says something about the quality here.

Would like to take a few moments to remind all to
remember to include the full year and make of your
car in the title of your thread, IE 2006 Mustang GT!!

Please take the time to read the instructions prior to
posting! I have been changing thread titles, and merging
double posts with just a PM to the member.

I am supposed to use the site warning system. I hope to avoid
that in the future!!

Thanks to all again who have been using the full decription in thier thread titles!! I have been impressed!!

If you have an audio question, post it in the Audio and Alarms Forum
