Newbie question here...

I have just seen this car in season 1 of Get Smart in the episodes "Satan Place" and "Our Man in Leotards". Apparently it is a custom Mustang. These episodes originally aired in late 1965.

Does anyone know anything about this particular custom car?

It looks like a version of the Mustang that was designed by the Italian designer who is designing a present day Mustang, I believe the name is Giugiaro. He designed a possible Mustang inthe Mid 60's. Anyone else care to agree or disagree?

It's a George Barris custom called the Zebra Mustang, for the Nancy Sinatra movie "Marriage on the Rocks" .

Open container law? I'm more concerned with what seems to be going on in the picture Big Al posted! That guy in the tan trench coat seems to be having a bit too much fun.
