Saturday morning 100 yards from my driveway, after working all night, I spotted a deer on the side of the road about the same time she spotted me. I performed a Mustang panic stop from about 35 mph. The deer tried to test the pony stamina. Both survived, deer skidded down the road, got up and ran off into the woods. Mustang drove home, recieved minor damages. First estimate is about $2000. What better time to upgrade and make a few changes. Parts are on the way. CDC Shaker hood setup, CDC Lightbar, Halo Headlights, New Ford Fender, New Cobra R Front Bumper cover, New rear bumper cover (fix parking lot damage at same time), new Cobra R 17x9 Black deep dish rims and tires. Attached pictures of damage.

I've never seen someone excited over getting in an accident.
Talk about taking lemons and making lemonade.
Be sure to post pics...

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.
Update - Drove stang today, took it to the body shop for a look, insurance adjuster estimate was $2300. I discussed already having purchased the parts and the changes to be made for the shaker, including painting the shaker base to match the car, & blackout on the hood. Body shop stated it wouldn't be a problem, scheduled a start date of May 7th, I'll be out of town that week anyway. CDC Shaker setup arrived today. The plan is coming together......

Coming soon: Green Underglow Neon (or LED Lights) Cold Air Intake, Pipes coming right off the headers for an exhaust, and maybe a sound system too.
Thats crazy, but i can believe it. I hit a deer(In the OC too) awhile back. Luckily it was my wifes car. We were carpooling to work and this thing came out of nowhere. Wwe were going down hill at about 45 mph. Totaled the thing, of course the guy that rear ended us right after didnt help either. The car was brand new, less than a year old. Damage costs were above $21k. Killed that deer though. Check the pictures...
21K!?!?!?!? how did it damage your front AND back?

I like your choices, redbarron. The Shaker is the way to go - eliminates the huge underhood pressure buildup these cars have, adds the ram air effect, adds a few ponies, and adds that all-important american muscle car heritage look.
Careful with that Cobra R bumper - its pretty low, and you will need to start parking "short". Its a looker, though.

Totalled??? Must have a flimsy frame on them things, otherwise you coulda duct taped it back together.
i hit it ran it over, messed up the frame and axle, then when I pulled to the side of the raod and parked I got rearended. Guess who wound up paying for the whole accident pretty much? It wasnt me!
