I got my tint done a little less than a month ago and I noticed a few specks on all the windows (some worse than others). I know I'm very particular about my ride, but I would like to know if anyone has had similar issues. This goes for all those with aftermarket tint. To clarify, I am not referring to air bubbles, but rather "contaminants" between the film and glass that look like dust. I checked the TintDude message boards and opinions seem to be varied. Sorry for the somewhat general question, but I respect the knowlege and helpfulness of the community, any and all help would be appreciated.

Bad tint job when you have lint/dirt between the film and glass. The lint/dirt will cause the adhesive to give in the heat and you will have some bubbles start. I would have the window redone if you have a warranty because it will get worse.
They must not have cleaned the windows properly before fitting the tint. I've seen what can happen when it's not clean, a few weeks to a few months, they get air bubbles, when it started out as dust & dirt.
I've never had any problems, but then again, I had a friend of mine tint my 3 diff. cars
nope i have larges pecs...oh wait you said "specks" sorry. but seirously. my buddy did his own tint and got the same results. it probably came from having dirty windows. thats why im hesatint to do my windows.

Coming soon: Green Underglow Neon (or LED Lights) Cold Air Intake, Pipes coming right off the headers for an exhaust, and maybe a sound system too.
I had it professionally done on my everyday driver and there are no specks or anything else.
It has held up well for the past 5 or 6 years that it has been done.

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.
Thanks for the feedback fellow stangers. The specks (very minimal) can barely be seen unless I'm staring at the window up close and looking really hard for them. I think I'm getting too worked up about it. The one window I had redone (small rear quarter), but the others are about as good as it gets. I had a few people look at the windows up close to see if they could find them and they could not. I just have to make sure they don't become noticeable in the future.
