i think i got a scam email form this forum you read and look so you dont get burned

Sounds very fishy to me I've gotten two scammers in the past 4 months, emails are really similar i wish i had saved them but yeah they always say something about shipping I do still have the fake money orders tho...

Really, AFM has no way to prevent that. They find your ad, doa little copy and paste, and send the bait out. Try not to get on the hook and let them reel you in.

I think if that were really from the UK that the english would have been much better. The one big runon sentence and poor grammar lead me to guess Nigeria,and nothing comes out of Nigeria but scams.
That's pretty right on NYT. I received one from Nigeria, and cos was spelled the same way......
I get several of these daily in my various POP email accounts. The best thing to do is delete them if they sound weird. Thanks for the update on the newest scam though.
I had that last year and he was from Europe, so he said. He was a pilot and wanted to send me $7000 for a $1000 engine kit, but send the rest back to his shipper, Air Cargo Shipping. Both he and his shipper had Yahoo addresses, we all know how hard it is to get a Yahoo account... But if it was a business address, it'd be a business email, not a Yahoo mail. He sent some bogus Wal Mart money orders and they looked good but there was only 3 of the money signs, rather than the 4 Wal Mart uses. They actually came out of Michigan too, now that I think about it.

ya i put on the ranger i'm sell only if i see the whites of your eyes may i sell it to you. i hated to do that but the person that takes the time to look at it because its got a V8 with nos with a shorten 9" rearend so i do want a disappointed the costumer.. or ripped off myself!! dam people dont care about anyone anymore but them selves...what a world check out my other post you will see way i say this........hhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaa now i know why poeple go off the deep end.

I actually swapped e-mails with the person who "had the money." Poor grammar, use of American slang (aint cuz na cmon), and a common-American-named yahoo address made me finally e-mail him "So how do you like it when I waste your time, you ---[lots of bad language]---"

Probably because your grammar was too proper. Send one back with the same types of mistakes as theirs.
I found a site once, dont remember where it is, that has kind of a competition to see how much time they can waste of the scammers, and what they can get the scammer to do. Send embarassing fotos etc... was actually a pretty entertaining site...

I've heard of that. They have them film themselves doing stupid things that I can't remember right now but then they have them post the vid on the web so they see that they actually did it. Why do we have to put up with such blanketyblankblank individuals who only try to rob us? If they worked at an actual job like they work at not working so they can scam others, they'd have more money than doing their scams.

yep, i get them several times a month, blah blah died and left 40,000,000 and blah blah 60% 40% split, blah blah blah all from foreign countries. some times i play with them and say, ya, send me the money, and they say we need 2000.00 from you for costs blah bla etc... and I say deduct it from my 40% and they say they cannot, blah blah........... then i tell them 4q.
