Does anybody know of a good place to take a mustang for repairs out in the San Diego area?? My son and daughter in law just moved out there a few weeks ago. Last Sunday they were rear ended in a chain reaction accident. A BMW rear ended a 95 mustang, which then hit their 04 mustang. They have damage to the bumper and tailpipes. They took it to a ford dealer to get an estimate, and all they did was try to sale them a new "safer" car.

When my old camaro was rear-ended, I was looking for a good body shop, in my area. Depending on how far your kids are willing to travel/where they live, the best place I can tell you of is Heller Auto Body. They're cheap, they're professional, they do an excellent job, and they get done relatively quickly. My brother used to work there and they have always done a great job.

Kids are near Point Loma (that is where he is stationed right now). How far would Heller Auto Body be from that area?

I'd say about a 30-40min drive, don't know if that'd be out of range for them...
