Here's a little movie I just made and wanted to share. I went out and took lots of pictures of the fall foliage around here. I did a little video-editing and voila.
fall is hitting Pa as well ! But with this werid 80 degree temp with higher humidy it is hard to tell . But anything is better than snow ! Nice pics . Someday I am going to get about and take some pics of my small home town and post up .

Nice pictures, I don't know how your weather has been but today it hit 90 here. Once Mother Nature gets back to normal, the leaves should start looking a lot more colorful.

Thanks! You're both right- the weather has messed up the usually-brilliant foliage. Today it was rainy here, but it has been about 85 all last week and over the weekend.
That, and there's a drought up here- the West Thompson Dam is down about 30' (which is HUGE).
We have one tree that started yellowing on the bottom, inner branches and worked its way out.
i love new england in the fall. i was in Norwich, CT last October for a family reunion and it was gorgeous. New england is always gorgeous, but fall is even more spectacular.

It's the only thing I love about New England. The summers are mild and the winters are nasty.
BUT there's fall. I don't even mind raking the leaves.
The only thing I don't like about fall is the nasty spiders that wander into my room. I walked into more than a few spider webs today getting those pictures. I like spiders, but I don't like having them crawl on my face.
dammit dawrr you got me wanting to fly out there and visit. looking at plane fares and my wallet is crying...see what you've done?

I grew up in NY, and the fall foliage in New England can be just spectacular. I'll never forget going to Upstate NY to pick apples every fall. The news casters would give a "foliage forecast" of when the best colors would be.
Down South, the colors don't seem quite as spectacular, but autumn here is a real season, not a time zone.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.
I'm getting more pictures on Friday (I found a better place in the woods- ALL maple trees)
Looks like you're just slightly ahead of me on the other side of the state. I'm in Watertown and the leaves aren't much to look at yet.................or maybe it's just because I live next to Waterbury.

Give it one week. The rain we got yesterday and this morning should help.
