Default The local news just won't be the same...
Well, my favorite local newscaster, Abby Ham, is leaving to accept a job in Ohio. Staying informed on local events is simply not going to be as enjoyable, now. Actually, she's been doing their morning show, mostly, but was still doing some news desk work on the evening news. Here's her picture - I think you can see why she is my favorite.

Heh, she probably would - if she had ever met me. Then, again, that might just have caused her to move earlier, saying, "I gotta get out of here - East Tennessee is full of weirdos."

Lets just say that my wife often laughs and jokingly tells me to 'quit drooling' when Ms. Ham is on. (And lest our AFM ladies be offended on my wife's behalf, I return the 'favor' whenever she sees Mario Lopez or Ty Pennington on the tube. Nothing wrong with looking!)

JB02GT, I am sorry for your loss. I feel your pain- the morning traffic lady is on vacation this week on the local news station. I miss waking up, turning on the TV, and wondering why I care about traffic on highways I never travel on. . Coffee can only go so far.
