I am so sorry, I will pray for you. I have a 17 year old daughter and think about that all of the time. 2 years ago my brother in law lost both his kids, a boy of 14 and a girl of 11 and almost his wife in a semi accident. I wish there were something to say to take the pain away.

you know... honestly, and i have posted in there too. but all i could think about when reading the original post in this thread was the kill stories section... how we sometimes promote it around here... encourage racing. i just feel horrible you. what a tragic loss. i have done stupid things in my car just like many have... but this kind of thing really just brings you to your knees and makes you ask yourself what you can possibly do to prevent something so terrible. sometimes you can. most of the time you can. i think the owners of AFM should take a stand and do something to try and discourage this behavior.
My heart is so sad for you. I am so sorry! Nothing I could say could ever take your pain away. I made a point along time ago to tell my kids I love them and hug and kiss them evrytime I see them. Life is so precious, you never know how much time you will have with your babies! I pray for God's Grace to cover your family!

thank you all so much.i made the funeral plans last night,was the hardest thing i ever done.your kind words help alot and are comforting.i am still waiting on the police report,i will post more when i can,hard to type when i can not stop crying.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, and your family. Megan can never be replaced in your heart. You have so many memories to cherish and treasure. I am sure these will aid you during the weeks and months ahead. She will be with you in spirit.

There are indeed few tortures upon a parent's soul than the loss of a beloved child.
I have seen death more times than I care to remember. I have lost family members, friends, and even fellow soldiers to death, but no loss compares to the loss of a child. As such, I can not honestly say I know what you are going though, but I can imagine such sorrow and grief. Therefore, I kiss my daughter every morning before I go to work, even though she is still alseep on the off chance it is my last kiss to her.
Paul my friend, I send my condolences to you and your family, and shallkeep your family in my prayers. Just remember, celebrate Megan's life and the joy she brought to your life. She is a child of God and is looking down from heaven upon you. Rejoice in the fact you raised her right, for she is and ever will be your angel.

I'm really sorry to hear this. To lose someone with a lifetime ahead is probably the toughest thing to deal with that I can imagine.
