Angry Ripped the dealership a new hole today!!!

Today is the first day I've been able to see my car in the sunlight since I got it back on thurday. Well I noticed some REALLY bad scratchs... Four spots down to the metal.
Well, I tried to be nice about it at first. I was there for two hours talking to the BIG Manager in charge of all the service. I explained to him I know my car from head to toe. Even after it was taken from me I checked the car over extremely well. Checking for new scratches and what not. Well he said that since the car was stolen it's an insurance issue. Well that just PISSED me off to no end. I accused him of not changing the motor the first time. I asked why did I bring the car in with a rod knock, leave, come back after six miles and have rod knock AGAIN after the motor was replaced. He immediatly went on the defensive and I had him PROVE to me that there in fact were two motors replaced.
Finally after complaining forever I get the guy to just come outside to see what I'm talking about. He checks it out and admits that yes the scratches are fresh and after some convincing I get him to agree to fix it all FREE OF CHARGE while my car is in the shop for the bumper... He even said I get a rental.
It almost seems that you have to threaten people to get them to believe you now a days. I mean if I scratched my car I would be pissed, but I would fix it outta my own pocket.
Oh ya... After paying to get a new wiring harness installed under the hood, the service writer told me that the MAF was the problem... That flamed me and put me out $500. So I'm also seeing if I can get my cash back for that. What a pain in my rear.

I tried my hardest not to use any 'bad' words in my post... If I did I'm sorry and please edit accordingly.

Reminds me of the time they sold me my car. While I was taking the test drive we noticed that the one of the seatbelts in the back was broken, and the engine temp sensor was out. Along with a few cosmetic things like a few scratches and a small hole in the top. Told him to knock off some money, then we'd talk more. A week later the spark plug wires were misfiring and screwing up my engine (real rough).

"We put this car through a 198 point inspection"
My ass you did Fix it, and I'm not paying 9,500 either.

Just shows me that the Mgr. is either inexperienced or ill trained. I've been in the business for 33 years. 22 years as a Mgr. The first thing you should do as a Mgr. is listen. Let the customer have the floor. Don't interupt him. Let him get it off his chest. Now he should have then went and looked at the car. Then you can decide what you are going to do. Now you can talk to the customer. If he had done that he would have avoided getting you and himself all worked up when in the end he looks like a fool since he agreed with you and is going to fix the car for you. RAY THE PARTS MGR.

Wow, I'm glad to see that it's not just the East Coast that has idiots as managers. The night Leslie and I bought our 'Stang, we noticed some blemishes in the paint but all the body and detail guys had gone home already so we scheduled to have those fixed when we had the teflon coating and undercarriage coating put on. When she picked it up from the shop that day, only half the scratches were fixed and the ones that WERE fixed had swirls all over them, BRAND NEW 'Stang mind ya. I saw 'em and went back to the dealership, talked to the salesman and made yet another appointment to get it all fixed. When I went to pick it up that afternoon, early luckily, there were 2 new scratches and MORE swirl marks to go along with the old ones and another 10 miles on the odometer, HMMMMMMMM. I was just a lil upset ( major understatement ) I went through the roof. I hauled ass up to the showroom, snatched my salesman away from the deal he was working, requested to have the dealership manager meet me at the body shop and showed them the whole thing. That's when i just had them bring me a buffer and some polish so I could personally take the scratches and swirls out. I was so furious that I have yet to take it back to have my leather protectant put on that I paid cash for.
